He ensures that the company culture and its values are applied consistently from top to bottom and has an active role in driving client satisfaction. His broad experience provides him with an array of perspectives that he can apply to an ever-changing investment market. After having success in many areas, he has identified the proper network of services to offer clients of various backgrounds. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Missouri. He also attended Southern Methodist University which allowed him to become a Certified Financial Plannerâ„¢.

As a partner, Jon takes an active leadership role with the firm’s Investment Committee, helping to set investment policy and strategy. He is consistently and wholly dedicated to providing the highest level of client service and always works to ensure that a comprehensive and customized wealth plan is established, implemented, and maintained.

As a fiduciary and Certified Financial Planner™, Jon’s primary focus is his clients and their overall financial fitness. His business centers around professional investment management and he believes a sound investment strategy always involves thorough risk management, tax efficiency, and proper estate planning.

Jon has more than 15 years of experience in the wealth management and financial services industry. He has a deep understanding of financial markets with a strong background in all aspects of financial planning and integrates this into his everyday practice. Jon built his career on the principles of trust and integrity which he believes are critical to building long-lasting and successful partnerships.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University. Jon is also a practicing CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ which he earned by attending an advanced planning curriculum from Southern Methodist University.

As a Partner, Chris's duties include overseeing strategic projects, investment strategies, and business development with a strong commitment to continually enhance the client experience. Chris is dedicated to the highest levels of client service by managing, maintaining, and growing client wealth responsibly and tax-efficiently.
As a fiduciary and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, Chris serves the financial planning needs of his clients by working to manage their wealth responsibly, grow it tax-efficiently, and evaluate it for years to come. As a fiduciary and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, he believes a foundation of transparency and trust are key to a successful partnership between clients and advisers.
With over 10 years in the industry, Chris has helped clients reach their financial goals through sound financial planning and thoughtful, diversified portfolios. Chris prides himself on the ability to drill down to the heart of complex matters for clients. He understands both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of financial planning and incorporates both into his relationships with clients.

Chris also grew up in Rowlett, Texas, where he met his wife Ashley. In his free time, Chris enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Ashley; daughters, Addison, Emery, and Harper.

Ryan's leadership qualities stem from his challenging childhood, where his family struggled to make ends meet. Despite the odds, Ryan persevered and worked hard to achieve his dreams. He credits his mother for instilling in him the importance of financial planning and believes that it is essential to help people secure their financial futures.
Ryan's passion for financial planning is evident in the way he interacts with his clients. He takes the time to understand their unique financial situations and helps them develop a personalized financial plan that suits their needs. He has a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives and to help them achieve their financial goals. In addition to his experience as a financial planner, Ryan is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After completing his military service, Ryan attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). His education, combined with his military experience, has given him a unique perspective on the financial industry and has equipped him with the skills and knowledge necessary to help his clients navigate the complex world of finance.

KEN CALHOUN

Ken is highly experienced in wealth management and believes in taking a personalized approach to the financial planning process. With a focus on understanding the desires of his clients, Ken guides successful individuals in how to achieve their financial priorities through careful financial risk management, tax planning, and estate planning.
Ken’s approach stems from his 10+ years working in some of the largest financial institutions in the country, where he had the opportunity to teach investment concepts to some of the country’s best advisers. Ken has a degree in Economics from the University of Texas, and applies strong project management skills to his approach. He understands that without a proper and ongoing planning process most financial plans will not live up to the expectations of clients long term.
There is nothing more rewarding to Ken than watching clients enjoy their hard-earned retirement. He has seen many retirees trade in their career for another, where they stress about their personal finances rather than a job. Rather than working on your finances full time, Ken believes retirement should be the opportunity to live life free to pursue whatever activity gives you joy. Ken takes the time to understand what that is for each client, and to understand their unique financial situations so that his clients can easily make decisions on the tradeoffs and opportunities in front of them in retirement.

JEFF BUTLER, JD
Wealth Adviser & Estate Planning Attorney
Jeff graduated near the top of his class from the University of Idaho, College of Law, where he served as Editor of the Law Journal for Critical Legal Studies, Volunteered in the Low Income Taxpayer tax clinic, the Small Business Clinic, and served as the student body Sergeant at Arms.

Jeff interned at Utah District Court for the 2nd Judicial District under District Judge Brent Smith, and as a civil prosecutor with Ada County in Boise, Idaho. Following law school, Jeff chose to focus his practice on Estate Planning and decided Rockwall, Texas would be the perfect place to raise his children and grow his practice. Jeff centers his firm on a straightforward approach, with the client’s needs at the focal point. He prides himself on being honest, upfront, efficient, and realistic when working with clients. Jeff works with his clients to put together a comprehensive plan that meets their specific needs.

Jeff with his law background is able to offer his customer a complete comprehensive approach when it comes to wealth management. Jeff focuses on investment management, retirement planning, risk mitigation and making sure you're not paying too much in unnecessary taxes.

Landon has over 25 years of experience in capital markets and enjoys guiding clients through the financial planning puzzle. He has seen multiple stock market cycles and interest rates environments, which provides for a retirement plan centered on experience and logic, rather than emotion. His approach is led by a commitment to transparency, empathy, and integrity. He believes a client’s hard-earned savings, when placed in an advisor’s hands, should be shepherded in a responsible manner; and the client deserves unbiased, practical, and understandable advice.
Landon believes a client’s unique circumstances call for a custom retirement plan that is tailored to fit their objectives and risk profile. A set-it and forget-it investment approach in retirement often leads to uneven cash flow, inefficient tax costs, and unnecessary exposure to market risk. Preservation of capital is essential to long-term financial success and different investment methodologies should be discussed. He strives for two-way communication that enables the client to feel valued and provides them a sense of well-being about their financial roadmap.
He has successfully worked with both novice investors, as well as experienced do-it-yourself investors. Whether early in their career or entering retirement, he seeks to build client relationships based on trust, candid discussions, and the firm’s expert knowledge. Landon is a lifelong Texan hailing from Amarillo and proud Red Raider. He and his family worship at St. Andrew Methodist in Plano. He and his wife are blessed with two sons and spend many wonderful moments cheering and coaching them on football and baseball fields around the Metroplex!

TAYLOR KELLY

Taylor is a seasoned professional with a strong background in event and technology sales. Known for being friendly, organized, and driven, she excels at building relationships and managing multiple projects. Taylor graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Sport Management, minors in Business Administration and Marketing with a Strategic Leadership Certificate, and was a member of the Division 1 softball team, effectively merging her love for sports with a solid business foundation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, traveling, and stays active by playing golf and pickleball.

Claire is a highly accomplished Client Coordinator at OpenAir, where she is responsible for overseeing a wide range of projects and initiatives. With a strong academic background that includes multiple degrees, including a business degree, Claire brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
In her capacity as a Client Coordinator, Claire is deeply engaged in many of the special projects around the OpenAir offices, providing invaluable support to colleagues and clients alike. From coordinating company events to assisting with client meetings, Claire's attention to detail ensures that every aspect of OpenAir's operations runs smoothly.
